Psalm 27:1 -The LORD is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life -of whom shall I be afraid?
One of our responsibilities but also one of our greatest privileges as Christians is to walk along side others and share in experiences that are somewhat difficult at that particular time of their life. What a comforting verse to remember during these times. When hope seems gone or at least at a far distance and light and joy seem out of reach, to whom do we turn– the LORD. He holds us in the palm of his hand to give us strength to face whatever might be presenting itself to us at the time. What a wonderful verse to guide us through our everyday routine. The LORD is my LIGHT… . He is our sunshine on a cloudy day, our rainbow at the end of a storm. Light gives us hope and joy when hope and joy are in short supply. Light at the end of a long night provides us the ability to see the day ahead and to feel the surge of energy to get started with whatever it is ahead. The LORD IS my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? No one.
