Organist
Cindy joined the staff of NFUMC in 1993. She serves as organist for the 8:30 and 9:30 worship services, and as of the fall of 2011 has joined the newly formed Worship Band for the 11:00 worship service, making use of the MIDI (synthesizer) capabilities on the Rogers digital organ. Other opportunities include providing piano solos and accompaniment as needed. She also plays for most church weddings, funerals, and special services throughout the year.
Cindy has maintained an independent piano teaching studio for over twenty years. She married Greg Romano in 1988. Greg teaches developmental writing at Ivy Tech Community College in the nearly three hour away town of Elkhart. They have 3 children: Jonathan (almost 19), Hayley (15), and Kristin (9).
