Rick Getch

Office Assistant

Rick joined NFUMC in September of 2010 and oversees production and distribution of church publications and communications and provides general office support.  He and his wife Carol (also on staff at First Church) met at the University of Louisville and married in 1971.  They raised four children and have been blessed with six grandchildren.  Rick spent over 25 years in Human Resources and currently does job search consulting with Lee Hecht Harrison in Indianapolis.  He taught high school for four years before entering the business world.  Something you might not know about him is that he was a three year letterman and starter at Tight End for the Louisville Cardinals and in October, 2008, was inducted into his high school Athletic Hall of Fame for football, basketball, and track.
