Small Groups: 2011-2012 School Year (Sept-May)

Discipleship Groups 

This option is a September to June weekly commitment that is designed to stretch your faith and provide you opportunities to grow in your faith; you will be led through theological reflection, prayer, Bible studies, community, opportunities to teach/share your faith, and service. Our Lord had very high expectations of his disciples and these expectations will be reflected in this group. Some expectations are accountability, OUTSIDE reading, attendance, confidentiality, and an openness/willingness to grow and be led. Discipleship Group is a great option for those who are highly committed to grow in knowledge and faith. It’s also a great option to experience true Christian community, support, and friends!

Meets Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm at Zach McNunlty’s Home or on Thursdays from 7:00-9:00pm  at Kevin Emmert’s Home.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is a meeting of people once a week at a leader’s house. This group is an intimate prayer group/community with breakfast! Depending on the group and their interests, there may be a short devotional led by the leader or a member of your club. Breakfast Club is for community building, thus weekly attendance, confidentiality, and openness are required. This is a great option for those who want Christian community and a small group but feel they are not ready (or too busy!) for a full evening commitment!

Meets Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00am at Jenell Hadley’s Home.

Devos and Donuts

During the school year, The Vine will be open at 6:45am once a week for a short breakfast and devotional led by Jenell, Zach, outside speakers, or the Pastors. This option is relaxed, low commitment, and great for outreach! So bring your friends, share a meal, and build community all before school starts at 7:35am!

Meets on Wednesdays at 6:45 am in The Vine.
